About Dhofar Tourism Company

Dhofar Tourism Company (DTC) was registered on 18 October 1993, as a public joint stock company in the Sultanate of Oman. We are the Owners of Kairaba Mirbat Resort & Spa (5 Star Hotel) located at Mirbat beach, the Hotel was opened in February 2010 (@ name of Mirbat Marriott Resort) up to September 2018. Presently the Company is operating a Dive Centre also situated in the vicinity of Kairaba Mirbat Resort , Mirbat beach.

Master Plan development:

Dhofar Tourism Company (SAOG) obtained license as an Integrated Tourism Complex from the Ministry of tourism which will have a major impact & create value to attract the local and international investors. Our plans in the near future are to submit detailed drawings for the Mirbat beach Project to Ministry of Tourism, and in that context the company is in the process of appointing a specialized engineering bureau.


In order to provide better services and to meet the requirements of our valued customers. DTC have recently carried out improvisations with the construction of a 500 meter broad walk to the beach  as well as a small amphitheatre, a mini soccer and children games room. These additional attractions have led to an increase in the services provided to our valued customers.

The company commissioned by the office of  engineering  consultancy specialized in design of 80 nos of residential units which will be put up for sale after preparation of detailed graphics and completion of all official procedures which will be a great addition to the resort.

Master Plan for all unused areas of the land that is possessed by Dhofar Tourism Company. DTC in Mirbat has been divided into seven phases:


The First Phase

Our Company has carried out development of this land by constructing a hotel that consists of (183) rooms  (55) Challets with health centre (spa), dive centre and other various facilities and services for our valued guests.

While the (6) remaining phases shall include proposed construction of (2791) residential units consisting of villas, marina apartments, village houses, townhouses and five-star hotel consisting of (300) rooms with all accompanying services with a Marina of a capacity of (75) boats, a nursery school for children, a private hospital, golf playground, water park for entertainments and other services, like markets, offices and different areas for car park etc. The six phases of the Master Plan shall be commercially marketed to both individuals and investors. that will consist of residence from the Sultanate of Oman, GCC and non-GCC Arab countries as well as residence of European countries. In particular, the United Kingdom and Germany . The Proposed development would be able to full fill the need from the market for an out of city experience, family entertainment, quality accommodation, scenic and dramatic surrounding historical and cultural attractions.
